Diana Murray, CEO and President of ASAP Accounting & Payroll, Inc., has been appointed to the Citizen State Bank (CSB) Board of Directors.

Diana Murray has an impressive track record of board service, including her notable roles as a Board Member and Past Board President of the Durango Chamber of Commerce and Past Board President for Riverhouse Children’s Center. Additionally, she is an active member of the Business Advisory Council for the Fort Lewis College School of Business. These positions have allowed Diana to develop a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by businesses and organizations in the region.
Having grown up in a family with a strong banking background, Diana has always held a deep appreciation for community banks and the value they bring to their customers. Her mother’s career in banking instilled in her the importance of fostering strong relationships and providing personalized service to clients. As CEO of ASAP Accounting & Payroll, Diana understands the intricacies and risk in the business of money movement and believes that expanding her knowledge of the banking system is a natural progression.
Diana’s dedication to community support and her passion for community banking were further amplified during the COVID-19 pandemic. Citizens State Bank and ASAP aligned their efforts to provide essential guidance and assistance to regional businesses seeking relief through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Collaborating closely with the CSB leadership team, Diana played a crucial role in helping local businesses navigate the uncertainties and secure vital financial assistance.

She felt a calling to step up and make a difference, firmly believing that banking is about building relationships. For Diana, the heart of relationship-building lies within small banks, be they virtual or local, where meaningful connection and trust can be forged. She is eager to contribute her insights, local knowledge, and leadership guidance to the CSB Board, working towards the organization’s continued success.
